“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together” - African Proverb

Dirt is grounded in the clinical expertise of Deidre Steadman (Clinical Psychologist) and Rob Griffin (Senior Youth Worker) who together bring over 40 years of combined experience with trauma-informed metacognitive, somatic, meditative, contemplative, experiential and systems therapies.

Deidre Steadman

Lead Facilitator / Clinical Psychologist

Founder of Dirt Temple, Deidre is also the owner/director at Alpha Psychology and author of The Revolutionary Who’s Rasing You.

With a passion for transpersonal psychology and meditation that spans her 20-year career, she holds a double undergraduate degree in psychology and philosophy, a MClinPsych and certification in sensorimotor psychotherapy and psychedelic-assisted therapy.

Her work weaves metacognition, neo-paganism, embodiment and ritual. Deidre has trained with ritual artist Scout Rainer Wiley and medicine woman Natasja Pelgrom.

Deidre brings a love for all wisdom-traditions, a heart for deep relational-practice, and a spirit of fun to her work.

Rob Griffin

Co-Facilitator / Senior Youth Worker

Rob is a senior trauma-specialist, supervisor and educator with over 16 years as a group facilitator and mentor.

His extensive trauma-informed practice equips him for impeccable ‘space holding,’ conflict resolution, skillful emotion-regulation, non-violent communication and relational mastery.

With a flare for experiential therapies borne of Rob’s 20 year career in the performing arts his therapeutic work is rooted in movement, theatre and embodiment.

Rob is a 5th Dan, Aikido Black Belt and brings a gift for navigating force, balance and power with integrity and safety. He sets a tone of grounded, quiet strength, holding to empathy and humility.

Nicholas Meyer

Modern Mystagogue

Nicholas Meyer is the Modern Mystagogue of Dirt Temple, guiding guests through immersive rites that weave land, ritual, and human connection into lived experience.

Drawing on Ancient Greek mythology and a life in food and wine, Nicholas stands at the threshold between worlds – where tradition meets innovation, and meaning meets momentum.

A touring wine professional with WSET Level 3 certification, he embodies the belief that if you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together. Warm, deeply empathetic, and quietly magnetic, Nicholas curates sensory-led journeys that make people feel seen, heard, and held – creating experiences where the collective becomes greater than the sum of its parts. Demystifying wine wank into palatable flavournoids of curiosity and wonder.

Simone Minett

Creative + Energetic Guide

A Barossa-based artist, Simone is the lead designer behind Dirt Temple, contributing to its aesthetic through spiritual and ritualistic touches.

A Reiki practitioner and oracle card worker, her work emerges through listening rather than force, guided by quiet occult lineages, energetic sensitivity and an intimate relationship with the unseen. She is the founder and artist behind Making Henry, a handmade jewellery practice rooted in slow craft.

She is drawn to subtle shifts and the space between things; bringing clarity, ease, and movement to her practice and her presentations at Dirt Temple.
